Scrumptious Productions came about quite by accident in 2007. A bad day at work saw Kirsteene Phelan throw in her job and start a business selling handmade wares of local designers at markets in Melbourne. For a bit of fun Kirsteene starting making a range of lollylike accessories that quickly snowballed into a full blown range. Over the last five years the label grew to include over 120 styles stocked in over 70 locations in Australia and New Zealand.
2010 saw Kirsteene head off on an O/S adventure to the United States to dig around in the dirty back rooms of long time jewellery makers and return home with lots of beautiful vintage and deadstock components to recreate into affordable, fun and feminine fashion accessories.
After a number of successful seasons selling online, at markets and to wholesale customers, Kirsteene felt the need for a new challenge and was presented with an opportunity almost immediately. In September of 2011, Kirsteene nabbed a role as Etsy's first Community Manager for Australia. You can find out more about this role and what it entails by viewing her admin profile - kirsteeneetsyaus.etsy.com
To fulfil these exciting new responsibilities Scrumptious Productions has been pared back and now presents a range of it's top selling and most popular items on Etsy and at selected boutiques internationally.
